I have six years of experience working with organizations that specialize in finance, supply chain management, and VR training in a variety of fields. I help businesses succeed by evangelizing user-centred practices and creating wonderful product experiences.

My Process

Discovery

Establishing a complete understanding of user needs and business goals. Information gathering initiatives with subject matter experts, product teams, stakeholders, and actual customers. Building user personas and objective lists.

Definition

Analysis of information gathered during discovery stage. Developing a design strategy, which includes planning and creation of design resources like user journeys, storyboards, etc.

Development

Sketch initial wireframes and craft hi-fi mockups for review with business, subject matter experts, and product teams. Bring in development teams to weigh in on technical limitations, current application implementation, and expected scope. Support dev through the entire development process.

Delivery

Collect feedback with surveys and interviews, and monitoring site/application use metrics. Review information and create feedback brief for stakeholders and product teams. Return to designs and improve upon created features based on that feedback by returning to beginning of my design process.

Strategy

Decide on what design goals, resources, and processes we should use during the design stages. Identifying who is involved, what components are involved, steps needed to implement, resource allocation, availability, and sustainability. Defining where are we now, where do we need to be, and how we get there.
